  • The practice of painting provides me with the opportunity to explore the world in unique ways. This exploration sharpens the eye, improves memory, and refines the imagination, whether it be landscape, still life or portraiture.

  • Commissioned work presents itself as a collaborative relationship between myself and a client. It usually starts with an idea, sometimes vague and sometimes clear. My goal is to help the client see a fully realized outcome through a series of steps involving numerous conversations, studies, and suggestions leading to a work that will provide enjoyment for many years to come.
